About Me

I grew up in Baghdad, Iraq, where I started out fixing gaming consoles and building PCs. What began as curiosity turned into a small business with a friend, repairing machines and selling parts. That early hands-on work shaped how I think about systems, products, and problem solving.

After 2003, I worked as a translator for the U.S. Army before moving into software development on projects supporting Iraq's justice system. I helped build some of the country's first internal databases for corrections and criminal case tracking, work that had a direct, real-world impact.

That period of my life also came with risk. I eventually left Iraq, spent time in Syria and Jordan, and resettled in the United States in 2008.

Since then, I've built and led enterprise software products from early-stage startups to large organizations. I helped build AppAssure, which was later acquired by Dell, and went on to lead product efforts there. I later served as CEO of Nubisio and as VP at Cloudistics, leading product, engineering, and customer success teams.

More recently, I founded SocialWeaver, an employee advocacy platform used by enterprise teams.

I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

These days, I focus on building enterprise SaaS products and embedding customer success directly into the product. I'm currently a fractional Head of Customer Success at Elastio, and I'm building a platform that helps marketing teams measure and improve their visibility in AI-generated answers.
